Amazing turn of events the day before yesterday! Had a small group of people around the house to watch the completed Car Danchi 3 movie. We had a bottle of wine open and were celebrating the finish! Then suddenly my wife says “hey I think there was a mistake in the Japanese subtitles” Holy shit I just about fell off my chair!! Worst nightmare ever! Turns out there was a mistake that we somehow missed when making the final master. had to call the distributer and put everything on hold as they were already starting the authoring process.
So yesterday it was back to the editing desk to fix the mistake and make a new master tape. Funny thing is I went back and found a few other same things I wanted to fix and in the end spent the whole day yesterday redoing the movie. In the end it is better now, so I am happy that it happened that way, but let me tell you it was a shock.
If I find any more mistakes I am going to totally ignore them from here on out! The tape is in the mail thats it!
