Avalanche safety Seminar 08/09

Shinya stopped by today for an all-day meeting. He is going to Hokkaido Outdoor Guide school right now so he only has Monday and Tuesday off. He told me about this great Avalanche Seminar in January that he is going to go to as part of his schooling. They have room for 30 people and he says there is still room left. It is an overnight camp and you get to stay in a mountain cabin near Teine snow area. Teaching will all be in Japanese, so would not recommend this one for the novice speaker of Japanese. Again great to recommend to your back country loving buddies who don’t have a clue as to what they are doing out there.
