I of course still love music and DJing! right now I am pretty busy working with the snowboarding and photography. I hope you enjoy the blog and check back here often, you can not hear my voice but you can read what I have to say!!!

  8. Hi Thomas, right after I was at Hakkoda I drove to Fukushima to film for the Trans-World DVD, that issue is on sale right now at book stores. If you want that one you should check quick as the next issue is coming soon. The final issue for this season will be on sale from the 6th of April. We filmed for that one at the Nippon Open also in Fukushima prefecture. I hosted all nine issues this season, looking forward to next season!

    Neil-

Hi Neil. How’s life in Hokkaido? My name is Kenji, living in Seattle and working at Snowboard shop called Snowboard Connection. I have been a big fun of your work since I live in Japan. I moved from Yokohama in 2000 and shredding around NW such as Baker and Hood. I checked out the teaser for “Car Danchi 3″ and showed to my friends works for Lib-tech, K2, and Burton. Some of them have seen the second ones before, so they were super hyped on 3. And we were just talking ” what if we do the Car Danchi Premire in Seattle?” I’m just having the idea of it like doing some Japanese sake special and sush all night at premire or something.
I do event planning and promotion for our shop. I would love to bring your movie here in NW!

How do you think? Do you think this is something you are interested in? Please write me back!

    Thanks!

    Kenji

    HI Neil,
Got your other Car Danchi releases and am trying to get number 3 without much luck.(Tower don’t ship internationally and Bookweb say unavailable)
Would be able to point me in the direction of a website that can ship me a copy to Australia?
Its no problem if the site is in Japanese as I have some friends that can help me out with that.
    Thanks!

    Hi Neil,

I am currently in the process of setting up the UK’s first snow film festival, set to take Place in the city of Brighton this November. I have recently moved to Japan, and am currently living and working in Niseko where over the course of this season i discovered Car danchi and was amazed that i hadn’t heard of them before!! I wondered if you (the Car danchi team) would like to be part of our film festival, i think the style of your movies would be a great contrast to some of the other films we’re lining up, and would love to help introduce Car danchi to the UK audience. If you think this is something you’d be interested in then please do get in touch.

Our website is still in development, but will give you some idea of what we’re looking to do :

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,

    Ben
