ICI sports presents a ski and Snowboard movie show! Car Danchi 7 and Build 5 showing together one night only at Bankei in Sapporo. This will be four days before the official release so please come and check it out before everyone has a chance to even buy the DVD!
It cost 500 yen to get in and you get one drink with entrance. Last year the room was packed and the movies looked and sounded great on the big screen and HD projection system. On the same day there is a wood fireplace festival going on in the parking lot at Bankei. If you are interested in wood fires, fireplaces and related topics I suggest coming early and spending the afternoon AND evening at Bankei!
Hope to see you there!

Yesterday was one of those amazing sunny spring days with no wind perfect snow conditions, lots of friends hanging out hiking and riding, laughing and eating and drinking! Good times for sure here at Nagano’s Tsugaike and Bluebloods Fundays. We partied afterwards at Hakuba’s famous Yakiniku joint, Miyama! So this morning was kind of slow as we cleaned up and tried to clear the alcohol from our bodies. So this photo report come a little late, but maybe you already saw some shots on my Facebook wall.
Staying a few more days here in the Tsugaike area to try to shoot some more photos with the Blueblood team, then it will be off to Tokyo for an event before heading back to Sapporo.
Asahikawa to be specific! There will be a special one time showing of Mike’s movie, “Open Spaces” a documentary about his life and snowboarding. It is a very good film and the man himself we be there to present it so if you are anywhere near Asahikawa on the 4th of March I hope you can visit us.
Here is the flyer with more info. The location is the legendary snowboard shop “Spray” in Asahikawa.
